The English Corner international student outreach ministry had a good Easter turnout with about ten students who attended church with the Tyler Penn family. For some of these students, it was the first time they had attended a church service. After church, the students joined the Penn family for lunch and Easter activities. Please pray that the Lord will continue to touch their hearts and that they will seek a deeper relationship with him.

Praise God for all he has done!

Spring is in the air and we see God’s creation awaken from the Winter hibernation. We are also experiencing changes in our campus ministry.

As previously communicated, Aaron Bird recently resigned after serving as the Director of CCF for over 20 years. Aaron initiated this decision, and we will greatly miss his extraordinary expertise and skilled leadership. As a result, the board is seeking a new Campus Ministry Director. Please help us by spreading the word to those whom you feel would be a good candidate to lead our campus ministry at the University of Illinois.

The Christian Campus Foundation (CCF) at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) is seeking a full-time Director of Campus Ministry. Strong candidates will be spiritually mature, committed to historic Christian belief and practice, effective communicators with young adults, dedicated to evangelism and discipleship in a major university context, skilled at strategic planning and organizational management, and able to interact productively with churches and individual supporters.
